An Invisible Leash of Light

Six years after their dog Brandy died, sisters Joanna and Lauren confessed to me their guilt and grief. They said they were teenagers when Brandy left; their parents were divorcing; the girls felt emotionally shut down by the turmoil in their home. They told me they judged themselves harshly for not loving Brandy the way she loved them.

I sought a message to  quiet Joanna's and Lauren's hearts. I found it when Brandy  entered my soul-space with Archangel Michael. Brandy brought me this message for the sisters: "I love you and feel only love for you. Every minute of my life was happy and I thank you for loving me."

Archangel Michael, standing to the right of Brandy, also had a message for the girls. He said: "Brandy came in to your lives and your family to be the one constant that you had in a world that at times felt inconsistent and turbulent. Brandy served a greater purpose. Her life was not as much about having her needs met, as much as it was she, giving you herself, to provide you with love and comfort in moments when you failed to find it anywhere else. Her energy is gentle and her soul's purpose was to be love and she loyally and lovingly accepted her calling and was committed to being there for all of you."

At that moment, I read Brandy's spirit interrupting: "Don't you know, that is why you could let me out and I never ran away?"

As my vision turned to Archangel Michael, I saw him petting Brandy's head and continuing her thought: "She didn't need a leash to be connected to you because there was always and still is, an invisible cord of light connecting you and keeping you together, it will be there always."

I offered to the sisters the additional information I saw in vision: "Do you think of Brandy when you are driving? She is always in the car with both of you. She loves being in the car with you!"

Hearing all this, Lauren responded: "This was so wonderful to hear. I think about her all the time - and, yes, while driving. I believe Joanna and I are moving into a space of peace about Brandy, our parents and everything that happened during that time."

Joanna added: "This was SO amazing and comforting to read. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to do this and for tuning in to our sweet Brandy... we miss her so much and it is so reassuring to hear that she had a happy life here on earth. "

Messages from Mom

The morning show

Spirit has been communicating with me since I was very young.  I receive messages in a variety of ways: thoughts, feelings, visions and words.  Sometimes  the messages are confirmed through scents, objects, signs, songs.  I also receive  messages in my dreams and when I meditate. There have also been times when I received messages and Spirit has communicated with me in less than ‘conventional’ ways.

Two of them happened with my Mom, shortly after she passed away.

It was an early morning days after Thanksgiving and Mom’s funeral, I found myself sitting in her favorite brown leather chair, staring blankly through the  TV.  I had automatically turned the channel to a morning show she watched.  I sipped coffee, as I prepared to start my day.  The show was doing  its daily outside segment . I saw the crowd standing behind the anchors,  but they all looked like a blur . The  crowd sound was muted for me.  Suddenly,  my focus sharpened on a woman at the side of the crowd, standing  on her own.   She was waving her right hand above her head to gain attention.  On screen, nobody looked.   I did!   It was Mom.  Glowing.  A creamy golden halo surrounded her entire body. Her green eyes were warm and loving.  She was wearing a beautiful white dress under a full length white coat. I made eye contact through the screen and her expression conveyed her excitement.  My mind tried to dismiss what was happening.  I said, “You can’t be in New York. Can you?” She said , “Yes. I am fine.  You know I love to travel and now I can be wherever I want, when I want.”  With her right hand, she blew three kisses and dissolved.   I knew the kisses were her way of showing her eternal connection to our family: my Dad, my brother and myself.

I love u 2

After Mom died, Dad was lost. I was lost. I wanted nothing more than to sit at the kitchen table with her sipping peach tea. One noontime I drove to Dad's office to bring lunch and check on him. As I drove, I talked to her. Pulling into a parking space, I ended the conversation by saying, "I love you."When I pulled  the key out of the ignition, I heard  an alert on my cell indicating I'd received a text. I picked the phone up and saw on the  screen that I had a message. I opened it and read: "I love u 2." No phone number  was listed for the sender.

Get a message to Marcy

"A miracle is never lost.  It may touch many people you have not even met, and produce undreamed of changes in situations of which you are not even aware."
- A Course in Miracles

I was beginning my evening meditation, softening my body, concentrating on my breath. In my mind I saw a girl about 20.  She had dark eyes and hair falling to chin level. She looked radiant as she announced, "Get a message to Marcy."

Marcy is my good friend. The girl said she appreciated the opportunity and kindness Marcy had given her. She said she hadn't had a chance to let Marcy know how much the connection meant. She said Marcy had seemed to see value and beauty in her she hadn't been able to see in herself. She said that by hiring and befriending her, Marcy had shown belief in her, and that even though she hadn't been able to find her way out of her darkness, her soul carried love and gratitude for what had been given.

When I called, Marcy was at first bewildered. Her  silence was finally broken by, "Yes. That's who it is" She then reminded me how 15 years earlier she'd run a high-end children's clothing store. She'd hired Jenna as a part-time sales associate. She  had spent time training Jenna and a bond of friendship had begun. It ended when Jenna died from a drug overdose.

This message  reminds me that loving kindness resonates  beyond time. The soul of the person to whom you give such gifts carries gratitude for eternity.
